Mixed Media Works

My work lives in the space where curiosity meets conflict. I create mixed media pieces that combine acrylic paint with charcoal or pastels, layering textures and forms to capture both harmony and disruption. Each piece begins as a response—sometimes to a fleeting thought, sometimes to an instance I can’t quite shake—that grows out of confusion with nature and the often careless, negative impact humans leave on their surroundings.

The process is free-flowing and intuitive, guided more by reaction than by plan. I let the materials move with me, blending the raw immediacy of charcoal and pastels with the depth and color of acrylic. The work often shifts and evolves as it’s made, and while it may resonate differently for each viewer, at its core it reflects my way of making sense of unease and translating it into something tangible.
